The BVACC has 5 amazing committees that are always in need of some new perspectives and expertise. Help us make your Chamber as effective and efficient as possible by joining a committee today!

Business Resource Committee

Meeting time: 4th Wednesday of each month, 8:00am at the Chamber office
As the newest committee to the Chamber, this group is in charge of putting together quarterly training events for our membership as well as working to make the Chamber a better resource for potential businesses that may have an interest in Brandon.

Fundraising Committee

Meeting Time: 3rd Wednesday of each month, 8:30am at the Chamber office
This committee has focused their efforts on planning three annual events to help increase revenue as well as promote local businesses. We could use your creativity in planning the Auction Amore, Chamber Golf Outing & Wine Tasting, and Brandon Expo.

Issues Management Committee

Meeting Time: 4th Thursday of each month, 8:00am at the Chamber office
IMC stays on top of all of the state, city and regional issues that directly affect Brandon area businesses. This group surveys the BVACC membership to create the annual legislative platform that is given to legislators on our annual trip to Pierre. IMC is also a great source of information as they research important issues and update the members of their findings.

Marketing Committee

Meeting Time: 1st Wednesday of each month, 8:30am at the Chamber office
In charge of promoting Brandon, the "Buy Brandon" campaign is the first priority of this committee. Other assigned projects include creation of marketing materials, and research and implementation of social media outlets.

Member & Public Relations Committee

Meeting Time: 1st Thursday of each month, 8:00am at the Chamber office
This group delights in planning the annual banquet, mixers, B2B Member Luncheons and other networking events for chamber members. This group also works hard to make sure there is a great mix of advertising and sponsorship opportunities avaiable to our members each year.
