Brandon Historical Society Museum
On the south side of Brandon Elementary School
Hours vary. Contact the Brandon Historical Society.

Inside the sturdy walls of the 1916 Brandon school building, are tidbits and trinkets, which document the history of Brandon, Corson and the surrounding area. The brick-structure is home to the Brandon Historical Society Museum.

The Brandon Historical Society is a relatively new organization. Formed in the summer of 1999, Brandon's postmaster Betsey Heckerman was concerned that Brandon was losing its history as the elders of the community passed away.

American Indian Burial Mounds
Located ½ mile past Huset's Speedway on Hwy 11

The Eminija Mounds were built by Native American people of the Late Woodland Period and may date from 500 to 1000 A.D. They are sharply defined and highly visible though some have worn down from their original height. Eminija is an Indian term which means "where the water splits the rocks," hence, Split Rock.

Brandon Valley Veteran's Memorial
On the corner of Splitrock Blvd. and Aspen Blvd.

The Veteran's Memorial was erected in April 2003, honoring those who have served and are now serving in the military. Names are inscribed on four stones.
