Here are just some of the many events that the Chamber puts on for members to provide opportunities to develop, network, and grow!

Annual Banquet: This event is held in March or April and features a keynote speaker. This is the biggest member event of the year.

Brandon Day at the Legislature: This event is open to all. Take the bus trip to Pierre during the Legislative Session. Have some fun, experience the legislative process in action and brag up Brandon and your business to leaders from across the state.

Brown Bag & Business: Held quarterly on the second Thursday of January, April, July and October, these 1 hour training sessions are free for Chamber members. Topics include marketing, internet security, technology, human resource issues, leadership and others.

Chamber Holiday Party: Traditionally held in early December, this free event is designed to allow Chamber members to get together to celebrate their accomplishments over the previous year.

Customer Service Training: The Chamber Business Development Committee strives to hold a customer service training in the spring of the year. This is designed for front line employees and anyone who deals with the public.

Golf & Wine Outing: This popular event is held the third Friday in June at the Brandon Golf Course. Businesses may sponsor teams for 18 holes of golf and 9 holes of wine tasting followed by a delicious dinner back at the Clubhouse. This event is sponsored by Home Federal Bank and Brandon Spirits. Team registrations are available beginning in late April.

Mixers: Chamber members host Mixers on the third Thursday of every other month from 5-6:30pm. This is a fun opportunity to get together and network with other businesses. If you are interested in hosting a mixer, contact the Chamber office at (605)582-7400. There is a $2 donation requested at the door.

New Member Lucheon: Held three times a year, these lunches are a chance to meet the newest members of the chamber and provide another networking opportunity.

Ribboncuttings & Groundbreakings: Each new business is entitled to host a ribbon cutting or groundbreaking. Chamber members are encouraged to attend these events as an opportunity to show support for our newest member businesses. Most are held over the noon hour on a week day to allow maximum attendance.
