- Special Events Committees have been formed to assist in planning community events and chamber fundraisers. Below are some events these committees help plan:
- Loyalty Days Parade honors local veterans with this annual event held in May. The Chamber assists with promotion and parade lineup. Don.t forget to have a float for your business in the parade.
- The McHardy Park Arts and Crafts Festival, held in late June, attracts hundreds of people to Brandon. The craft and food vendors, along with the entertainment stage, make this a must-attend event for shoppers and families.
- The Chamber Golf Outing and Wine Tasting, usually held in June, is a great networking opportunity and chance to promote your business. This is one of the Chamber.s top fundraisers. The Chamber thanks Brandon Spirits and Home Federal Bank for sponsoring this event.
- Hometown Days in August brings the community together for its annual summer celebration. Watch for a schedule of events.
- Santa Stops allows Brandon children to visit Santa without leaving their home. Parents can call the chamber to schedule a visit with Santa. Volunteer to be a Santa or elf by calling 582-7400.
